What are the REAL differences between the 2? I know the C5 LS1 is rated at higher HP but from everything I had ever read there was no real difference in "actual" power output.

Only thing I can see is the drive-by-wire throttle body on the C5 LS1 vs cable throttle body on the f-body LS1.
General consensus is that everything else is the same.

no EGR on Vettes, not that it makes a power difference
the intake and exhaust probably flow alittle better on the vettes
according to ALLDATA the camshaft lobes on a 2000 OEM Corvette camshafts have .277/.281 lift and on a 2000 OEM Camaro camshaft it is .292/.292 **this is lobe lift not valve lift**
