I would, get the titanium ones, your valvetrain will appreaciate you, I did and was extremly happy I did. If your gonna do a cam job, don't cut corners, you'll be happy with changing your retainers.
Titanium isn't necessary, I did it for an extra light valve train and that insurance for valve float. you can get the OEM ones and be just fine. I would get different springs like the 918's if you plan on a cam for sure.

New retainers are not necessary if the springs (NECESSARY!) that you get can use stock retainers. Ti retainers are not a bad idea, though. They are not very expensive and reduce valvetrain weight.
