Did the light come on after you dynoed and before/during your trip to the track? That does sound low for your setup.

You have any tool that can log engine params? I'm wondering if you are seeing timing being pulled.

Something is wrong. You need to log a run and see what the motor is doing. I would think your trap speed would be 120 plus.

on the 110 pass was at 11am in oct. i dotn remember the weather... last ngihts passes was dry and about 75* out got cooler as the night went on.... my best timeslip of the night was

60' 1.800
330 5.23
1/8 8.0
Mph 89.65
1000 10.4
1/4 12.407
Mph 113.95

then later on i went 12.6 @ 114
i dotn no what to do now but i sure thought i would be traping up near 120

I think a lot of your problem is weather related. I would think that weather in Oct in NJ would be much better for racing than weather in June.

Is your car full weight?

yes its full weight... the only othe rthign i dont understand is there was another guy there with a ws6 and afr 205's and fm13... he put donw 430 threw a 10 bolt. i put donw 401 threw a 9inch and he was traping 118 then hole night. Woudl that 15-20 hp diff make that much of a dif in trap speed?

this i believe is part of the equation...

however, if he put down 401rwhp, that car isn't going to trap 118-120 at his weight. i would expect maybe 116 at best, but 400rwhp is 400rwhp, it will propel the car at the same speed, whether it is through a 9" or a 10 bolt.

do you have a dynograph we can see, 35thls1? perhaps after we know where you're shifting we can help..

also, the weather would make a difference, but it took 94* temps and 99% humidity to knock my car down 2 mph in the 1/4. over a 75* and 35% humidity comparison...and i'm still on the stock tune.

I think so especially if the other guy is keeping his engine in the power band more through out the 1/4 mile.

Ur A/F could use some tweaking IMHO. Add some fuel down low and in the midrange, this will improve your TQ. Your definatley rich up top, you could pick up some hp by leaning it out some. Your 12.5 from 4500ish to 7k.

With this said it's not gonna improve your trap by 6 mph though. Your results seem similar to my buddys cammed car. Dynos well, 430/408, but doesn't perform down the 1320. He ran a best of 12.73@115, 2.1 60ft. This was with a TSP Torquer II.

For comparison I am running 12.5s@111-112, on 1.9-2.0 60fts with only exhaust, lid, and my own ported TB.
