Clogged fuel filter, air filter, traction issues, hotter more humid day? Clutch? I'd try a tune up first and see what happens. If that doesn't do you any good you will have to dig deeper.

fuel and air filter (including plug/wires) are already on my list.

you sig says 12.6 @109 with a 1.94 60'

so, you had a 1.68 60 the other night and ran slower....

i would say clutch, but you probably wouldnt be cutting 1.6 60's on a bad clutch, but anything is possible.

Go ahead and do plugs/wires and fuel filter and run again and see if youre still running slower.

Maybe it was just a bad night for you.

12.5@109 is the quickest with a 1.75 60

and my car is auto, sorry, 3400 stall.

night was humid, but others were running good times, where they run normally...i doubt i wuld be the only one affected.

well here is what im going.

new 02 sensors
air fitler (clean)
fuel filter
msd wires
ngk plugs

any other recommendations?

oil is only about 1 month (800-900) old.

air filter/oil wouldnt be that big of an issue anyway.

before you do the wires, i would get a multimeter and check the ones you have. just to save a lil $ bc i know my MSD wires were like 80 bucks. plugs/fuel filter are cheap and easy.

o2's are a possibility though.

well, you have obviously ran the car after being told that, so your 'lazy' o2's can't be affecting you that much.

A few years ago I bought a brand new turbo 400 from TCI along with one of their converters for my chevelle and it was doing something similar to what your experiencing, I didn't think it was a tranamission related problem either, but one last shot of nitrous proved it was my problem. My point is,
just because your stuff is relatively new ,suspect everything until you can positively eliminate it as what is causing your problems.Good luck I hope it is something simple.

how many miles on the motor? are you losing coolant? my buddy is experiencing similar problems and we suspect a head gasket is the culprit.

he has a stockish 00 z a4, lid + ls6 intake + tune and was trapping 107 last year, this year he is trapping 102-103, no changes to anything. the car now has 153k on it, i think...and is eating coolant like a mfer, no smoke, just missing antifreeze.
