Strange voltage issue

Strange voltage issue start a couple weeks ago. it stays down in the orange part of the voltage guage, right above the 8 i believe. i replaced the alternator, still does it, i did charge the battery when i put the alternator in and it was fine for a lil while, then went back to doing what it was doing. im unsure about it being the battery since i tried 2 other known good batteries and it does the same thing. im at a loss of what to check next. the lights have never dimmed on me or anything, never tried to die, just reading really low. it used to read above the 13 almost at the next line.

If it drained a battery overnite you have a load when there shouldn't be one. Use a DVM to check battery voltage as you pull fuses till the battery voltage jumps up to over 12VDC. When it does you only have to troubleshoot that circuit.
