I just pulled my motor apart and found 1,2,3, and 4 all had spun bearings. Number 2 actually fused the 2 bearings together. The car was running great, had great oil pressure (50+ lbs cold), and was quiet. Did a WOT run and something didn't feel right, looked down and had no oil pressure but the motor was still quiet.

A pic would just be a bunch of metal shavings in the pan. Which was last year and all to haunting.

did you just put on new bearings and it was fine? or did your spun bearing cause more damage than just a damaged bearing?

My crank is pretty screwed up so if I rebuild the stock motor I'm at least going to need a new crank.

The rods may need to be replaced in some cases. You would just have to look at the damage and see.

both motors i spun bearings in were very noticeable bottom end knocks and lost alot of oil pressure .when my last one spun i was at the strip and my car wasn't pulling like it should and i lifted and i heard the dreaded sound.a new shimmed ls6 pump will be a good idea to try to get back some psi back but it may still not be alot if cam bearings is wore.
