He is running Cranes with a 3/8-24 thread, different thread pitch than stock.

Okay, so a 24 thread gives us .042 per thread, multiplied by 1.588 (reverse rocker ratio) and that gives us .067 per turn. 1 1/4 turns gives .084 preload. Thats still pretty good for stock style lifters.

okay guys sorry to bring up an old thready but can anyone tell me what's the exact way there suppose to be installed. I don't have the instructions or anything cause the machine shop installed them. I have the comp 1.75 rockers with the cap with the hex bolt. looked on comps site and it sucks bout this. any help would be great. the cap is a 1/2 if it matters
