is this swap worth it in the long run

Ive got a nice set of 5.3L patriot performance heads....not milled or anything exactly how you get em from patriot....

would it be worth the time and effort and some $ to change to say the patriot ls6 style heads??

the car is an 02 SS and is STREET only

Ive got a 225/225 cam right now waiting for install...thinking about going with a Torquer 2 though.....

please chime in....

Possibly. If you had the LS6 heads milled and then a cleanup port job. They would probably end up being far superior to the 5.3 head. Maybe about 10-15 to the ground if you had to put a number to it.
