hahaha nice man, im sure you will love it. I felt the same way when i dropped my camaro off to Dez Racing in late april. They installed all the stuff in my sig and I felt like a little kid on Christmas eve the night before I got my car back. trust me you will love your cammed ls1!

 

Bring her down to FMSP Sunday. Test and tune is 1-6.There is usually a good turn out of Camaros and you know if you turn it loose anywhere near I-40 they will have a wanted poster on you by Monday.

 

I'm right there with ya man, I'm awaiting a tune as we speak...but I've got a few more days ahead of me.

It's funny to see people's reactions to cammed newer cars, you're gonna love it....not to mention how much faster the car will be

Man, its so hard to cope with the anticipation of these kinds of things. You have hopes, expectations and of course a little fear (is the thing gonna blow up on the dyno - ). I'm sure you'll be happy with the results and hope for the best. Just be safe and make sure you show a little restraint while letting everything get use to the new power!! All the best!!

 

It's a local dragstrip (Fayetteville Motorsports Park) I usually run my Camaro out there on Sunday.when they have a test and tune from 1-6pm. It usually has a decent Fbody turnout. Gives you a chance to turn it loose without looking in the rearview mirror and seeing that damn blue lite behind you. There is plenty of ricers and Mustangs to whoop up on while you pratice your technique.

 

Do you have your new rear tires ordered yet?? (it sounds as if you're going to be needing them!!)

 

well guys just got home from riding around....NICE LOPE!!!! only thing is how long does it take to learn idle? put it in reverse twice and cut off? WTF!!! Also it seems that when i Full throttle my rpms flucuate(spelling) and at idle it surges some. details please!!!

 

I had a hotcam and switched to a G5X2. It took about 2 weeks with the G5, then it was almost like overnight the behavior was real nice. I eased into reverses.

 

so just give it time?

 

You need to get it tuned.
