Default ? for those with dual chain timing sets

i was told by LME i have to grind the inside of my timing cover. id like to see where abouts i have to grind. if anyone has theres off already grinded id like to see a general idea where i need to. i can see where it has touched by placing it against the block already. and also i forgot if im supposed to measure with or without the gasket in place.

thanks

I got duel chains in both my motors LS6 & LS2 and never had to grind .There may be some thing differant about there chains . But i cant see what it could be.

i held it up to the block with the gasket and i did not feel any rubbing but i was told to do a lil bit, so im being overly cautious.
