bent pushrod - 2 in a row same cyl??
bent pushrod - 2 in a row same cyl?? I tested/tuned my car beat it pretty good and everything was fine. Then yesterday I started getting into it 4500rpms (aprox) bent a pushrod INT #7
replaced it. took it out again, same thing, INT #7. And both pushrods are bent the exact same, mirror images of each other.
Its a Stock cam 5.3 bigger springs though, forgot specs. I know the stock pushrods are weak and thats what I have for now. But what would make one specific cyl act this way? any ideas? or is just a stupid coincedence? I'll try for 3 in a row.

I would check for coil bind. I know you have a stock cam but they do not bend unless there is a problem or you are reving them Realy high with bad valve springs 
there is no coil bind, stock pistons, stock cam, and stock valves. I threw another stock one in yesterday and its been fine since. I think my plugs are fouled out and popping out the exhaust.
you should replace the spring on that cylinder. if you don't want to replace it move the intake spring to the exhaust spring. but to be safe i'd just replace it. it could be just a weak spring.
