Price to pay I'm watching an engine on ebay, out of a 98 vette, 40k miles, pulled it, had it "machined", bottom end balanced, has stock rods, pistons, crank that was polished, bearings, stock cam, set of heads, stock head bolts (new), timing set, gaskets, 1 head gasket, etc...

How much to pay for this? I was going to slap my 6.0L heads I ported on it, and run it until I can afford to build the new motor and sell this motor as a running longblock. What would you guys do?
