shaft mount advantages?

shaft mount advantages? im getting higher ratio rockers 1.8 to be exact. and i plan to get a warhawk setup (block/heads) in the near future, or sooner if my current engine goes/gets weak. i just wanted to know if shaft assemblies are worth the double price tags over conventional aftermarket rockers. i was looking at either crane 1.8 rocker/valtrain kit, or comp cams shaft mount setup for twice the price for just the rockers and not a kit.

Why wouldn't it work with the LS1 Warhawk?
Shaft rockers add stability and strength. However, you should select your rockers and their ratio in combination with your cam, valves, springs, lifters, etc. With hydraulic lifters, their are some trade-offs that are critical.

the warhawk heads i plan to get- ls7x heads, use offset rockers or ls7 style. they would work with the ls1 style warhawk heads, but i want to get the warhawk block and heads. so the ls7x heads make more sense for a bigger engine. i wanted to get a cam because i wanted more power in my current engine, and thought if i got one big enough i could use it for the warhawk. but theres some incompatibility issues and i dont want to buy the same parts twice, i want to do it right the first time.
