Default Looking for heads..Help needed!!

I have my heads off to change the lifters, and well, I just figured that since I have my heads off then I would try to change them. Can anyone give me some ideas as to what heads are the best for what I want. I have a stock bottom end, a whole lot of spray, full bolt-ons. So, you guys have any ideas????

AFR's seem to be the best you can get. There are many others like Dart. You pay more for the AFR's but sometimes you get what you pay for. I have been looking at heads for a long time and was considering the Darts but after reading the problems with them I will have to wait and see. I just might wait until I can save up for the AFR's. Good luck on what ever you pick.

AFR 205s are the best so you might as well get them.

people seem to be having fair results with the budget ported LS6 heads from Texas Speed. If you're looking to stay on a relatively small budget, these heads can be had for around $1000.

Otherwise, I would recommend AFR 205's.

If trying to stay on a budget, I am happy with my Darts. I think they offer a more robust head than a ported stock for spray and they aren't priced too bad either. Worth considering in my opinion. Good luck with your choice.
