5.3 PtV Issues
I'm looking at buying a set of 5.3 heads (862 castings i belive is what they are).... I will have the 2.0 intake valve cut into them to use the vavles from my 241 castings. What i'm wondering is, will i have piston to vavle clearance issues with my cam - its a PP 232/230 .580/.580 110LSA...?
Also, is there any sort of pushrod length change or antyhign when going with this type of setup? What kind of power increases can i expect in general? What head gaskets shoudl i get? Any milling options available w/o having issues?

oh, and i was looking at a guys 5.3's on here, but they are milled .030 with 2.02 and 1.6 valves. I would really like them, but i'm probably guaranteed to have to notch the pistons right?? I really dont' want to get into that - i'm not THAT mechanically inclined to go griding into my pistons - dont trust myself enough....
any other thoughts from anyone? gunnar said that i SHOULD be okay but i'd like a few more opinions from you cam/head gurus!
cliffnotes: i want to put unmilled 5.3s on with the stock 5.7 valves with the cam in my sig

bump!
just like get some more thoughts!
any calculators out there that can calculate this ptv clearance or give me a good idea?
i guess head gasket thickness is a concern too... don't wanna go too thin and break something when i could have gone GM and been okay
