I have always ran Mobil 1 in my car. It is time for another oil change and I was thinking of trying Mobil 5000. Is this just as good as Mobil 1? My car has 63000 miles on it. Thanks a lot

 

I don't know. I've been using the GC. I found it at the local Autozone.

 

No, it is not as good as Mobil 1. The Mobil 5000 is a conventional oil, the Mobil 7500 is a synthetic blend. It is only a full synthetic if it says Mobil 1 on the bottle, if it just says Mobil, than its not a full synthetic..it will either be a blend, or a conventional.
