Cam Swap (?Valve Springs?)
Right now I have 4000 miles on my current camshaft and valve spring setup, the car itself has almost 21,000 miles. I want to swap cams in a month when I put my headers on, I also want to put a new timing chain and oil pump on. My current setup is TR224, comp cams 918 springs, titanium retainers, and chrome moly pushrods. Anybody ever just swap cams out and use the same valve springs. I plan on putting heads on next year which I would then have all new valvetrain. I may only put on another 3000 miles on the springs over the next year, to me it seems fine to do. Anyone done this and not have any issue's? My next came will be around 230 duration and .590 valve lift.

If you haven't done it already, just shim the existing springs to within .050" of coil bind when you put the new cam in. That way you'll be sure to be getting the maximum benefit from your current spring setup.
We made those springs with 0.600 lift and 30,000 mile expected life. I would think you would be in great shape for a few thousand more miles. You can shim it more and I see alot of guys doing that. Generally if everything is consistent and you measure things to make sure nothing binds then going tight is a better way to run to get the most out of your engine.
