Default 228/232 on 110 LSA--Cold startup soundclip

I've seen several request for soundclips on cams and a few for this one, so thought I'd post. This is on a 01 C5, Ghl Bullet exhaust with LG Pro longtubes with high flow cats. Should of made it a little shorter, guess I just like listening to it. LOL

That sounds sweet what kind of power are you making and what is the lift on the cam if you don't mind.

Thanks. Lift is 588/595. I picked up 51 rwhp and 8 rwtq over what I had with my headers which puts me at 390 rwhp and 359 rwtq with 4:10's. I also did put a ported tb on at the time of cam install. I'm getting ready to have the cam degreed next week. It should have been installed on a 109 ICL, installer did install dot to dot but it looks like it might have been on a 112 as my power is from 4500 up to rev limiter of 6600 and still not dropping. Degreeing should move my power down lower where I wanted it and pick my tq up some. Bad part is the labor to get degreed, adjustable timing chain and retune. Oh well, you can't take it with you.

If you are talking about the ICL, it says 109. My tq should be peaking at 4800 and hp at 6300, so it looks like the cam is retarded. A lot of cams you can get away with installing dot to dot. Looks like not in my case though. The following is a quote from cam guru Patrick G.

"Like I said in my PM, tuning will help bring up some of the low-end and mid-range torque, but it appears to me that the cam is not in at 109 intake centerline. It looks more like it's in at 112. Installing the cam dot to dot does not guarantee that you'll get the exact ICL you want. It can be as much as 4 degrees off. I'd recommend tuning first, then if the power doesn't increase down low, then look at cam centerline."

With my power so high in the rpm band it appears degreeing is what it needs.
