Default Timing chain help

Will the C6 Z06 timing chain work on a C5 corvette.? Just wanted a stronger chain, you know, if mine breaks, there goes everything.

you can use the LS2 chain on a LS1/6....the actual gm part numbers superceeded to them.

Or you can get the C5-R chain from us for $139.94. It has never broken in all of C5-R racing and durability testing.

If I went with the C5R chain will that be all I need. Or do I need to replace the gears as well.

Fits right on the stock gears, so no you don't need to replace them.
