Ummm... you're being a little broad here. There are only a million cams that fit your description (ok, maybe 999,999 lol)
What other mods do you have and what are you looking for out of the car? A beast, a very mild daily driver? a street/strip car? Got any goals, future mods? There's a lot you left out here.

new valves, port and polish my heads, dual k&n avant intake, pacesetter long tube headers , dual dumps) stage 3 tranny up to 750 hp rated 3.73 gears and im starting out with a new ls1 block since i just blew mine,) so maybe all these mods will help ya i just want a cam thats gonna like make my car sound ******* mean as hell but like not be over .600 or one that involves me getting longer pushrods

Woah, hold on there... some of your parts list doesn't match up. The Weiand intake is junk, get an LS6 intake. 90mm TB is overkill unless you are running a 90mm FAST intake with it, have your stock TB ported for use with the LS6 intake. Skip the fuel rails and rocker arms, use the stockers. LS7 lifters are cheaper than the Comps if you want to go that route. Match your valve springs to the cam, Comp 918 singles are usually good for < 0.600" lift. Unless you are running 2.73's in the stock 10 bolt, skip the 3.73 gears and get a nice 3500+ torque converter. Just remember that numerically higher gears are weaker than lower numbers, and your 10 bolt is very weak to begin with.

I'm not sure I follow your reasoning on not wanting longer pushrods. You will need new hardened pushrods no matter what cam you get, so why does it matter how long they are? Be sure to measure for proper valvetrain geometry with whatever pushrods you install.

Porting and polishing is good for the '98 heads, they are rougher inside than later year castings due to the casting method used.

As for cam choice, if you are ordering a new short block you usually get your choice of cam with it. I think you would like this cam from Thunder Racing. It's a great grind for power, within your lift requirements, and the low 111 LSA should chop like crazy at idle. Here is a link: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=3&pcid=51
Thunder Racing Custom "Reverse Split" Camshaft - 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA 2200-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Automatic cars require computer tuning and it is recommend for optimum results on manual transmission cars . Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended.

Most aftermarket cams will need around a 7.4" pushrod, unless your heads are decked or you are using odd thickness head gaskets. Always check for proper geometry though! If you need a different length, you can most likely trade with someone on here straight up, or sell the ones you have and get the correct length.

Read the stickies. Most notably the cam guide sticky. And use the search button.

We could easily list over 100 cams. This question is like asking use to list a car you could buy for $25,000 that will run on 87 octane.

I'll keep it simple, general came sizes and 'personalities' could be seen by looking at:

Stock cam
LS6 cam
GM Hotcam
TR224
FM13
MS3
T-Rex

Do research, figure out what will work best for what you want to do. Nobody knows your goals better than you do. I tried to help you, now I'm done.

Did you stay up part of the night, or whenever your available time is, reading the stickies and searching?

What transmission do you have? If manual, what gears and if auto what stall speed converter? Will the car be mostly a street car used often, a weekend warrior that drives the street during the week and goes to the track most weekends, track only or a nice sunny day street car?

Get a high stall torque converter first.

I recommend a Yank or Vigilante brand converter, Trans-Go shift kit, B&M 24k gvwr cooler, transmission temperature gauge, subframe connectors and Nitto NT-555R drag radials. Stall speed in the 3500-4000 RPM range

Then, after you get that taken care of get a cam. I am going to assume your springs are Comp 918s. Is this true?

Get a cam such as an LG G5X2 ground on a 112 LSA or a Texas Speed and Performance 233/239.

GM hot cam
TR224
228R
F13
F14

There's probably 200 camshafts that will work with stock bottom end and .600" lift springs. Check sponsors. (MTI, Thunder, Speedinc, Futral, TSP, ect.)

As for a stall converter for a cam in that range probably 3500-4000 stall.

i found a cam now if any one knows anything on the performance of this cam it would be great and is it worth the buck i found a
comp cam GEN III/LS1/LS6 350 Xtreme RPM HIGH LIFT XR265HR Cam
PART #54-424-11 cost of cam would be considered **** exploring if u ask me but yea $464.94 dollars this is fit to my standards on bottom stock end, and .600 springs

i found a second cam fit for a 3200 stall its GEN III/LS1/LS6 350 Xtreme RPM XR277HR Cam PART #54-418-11 also fit for stock bottom end and no bigger springs then .600 does anyone have any info or input on these cams ? and id realli like a cam that just sounds ******* mean so should i just go ahead and find someone on here to sell my springs to that i have now and get springs rated to .650 for much bigger cams or with the choice of bigger cams would i have to worry bout stock bottom end and heads and **** ? not sure what i should do here ..
