Intake Manifold – Fast ??..Aint gonna cut it, carb intake or sheetmetal with dual throttlebodies

Mass Air flow...... gonna have to ditch that and go speed density

Fuel injectors, big, 55 lb or so

Heads – AFR ?? LS7X Warhawk ??...probably some ET heads, at least a 240/250 cc runner

Lifters.....solid roller

Rocker arms...shaft rockers

Valves...big

Valve springs....to be determined

Pistons...Forged

Rings...good ones

Connecting rods...billet, you gonna be running hard to reach 220

Push rods...damn good ones

Headers...big, 1 7/8 stepped to 2 inch

Exhaust... Also big, I dont know how much ex you can get under a vette

Tail pipes..see above

Engine block – LS7X Warhawk ???....or a c5r..you gonna need 450+ inches

Crankshaft.....Billet

Camshaft....BIG

Also, some more things you havent considered

If you plan on running that speed Cooling is gonna be an issue, oil and coolant.

Transmissions and rear ends also tend to overheat at those speeds

650rwhp normally aspirated on pumpgas, drive it cross country a VERY tall order, you cannot skimp ANYWHERE, over build where you can.

You would be better off with a built 402 and the TTiX twin turbos. easy 650-750rwhp with small cam, low boost(10-14psi) and very reliable....

Just a quick email to find out some more info on the multi valve guru.. Short story We run a door slammer (Promod) here in Sydney Australia & have placed an order in January for a one off custom set of 32 valve ARAO all billet Ford heads (Cleveland style) to suit our alloy Fontana. What we ordered were BILLET solids “no water” with custom porting to suit our Hogan’s blower sheet metal intake.. etc etc.. we also ordered all Manley valve train in Titanium etc etc... We spoke with Manley today and they have NO order from Arao…This order had an agreed lead-time of 16-20 weeks MFG. Now we are sitting in November and since the order is paid in FULL to Russ we’re a little concerned!!! , we were told that if we wire funds in FULL our order then gets expedited. We are very patient with him, we know this is a unique product and sometimes things happen and orders get delayed. My question is... has anyone here personally visited the shop and what’s your impression? Any help is really really appreciated.

Cheers, Kev
Sydney Australia.

Any particular reason you do not wish to throw a turbo on it? The Lingenfelter vette ran low 9s and got 27 miles to the gallon.

Yep, there are a few LS2 based twin turbo setups floating around in Ct already. Most are putting down 550-600 rwhp with a conservative pump gas tune. Obviously more psi with race fuel would get you to 650+.

I know CT Corvettes (Steve) is looking for some project cars to get this done on and he's teamed up with Slowhawk for tuning so you know you'll have a solid and reliable ride. On this forum I think his name is Connecticut.

Isn't it interesting how someone registered and made a single post for this rather unrealistic setup. Did manage to get some of LS1Tech's best respond.

If you are really attempting this - good luck. If you have any $$ left over, please PM me
