Congrats man! I'm sure you're feelin a like a pig in **** after putting everything together and making those kinda numbers. My car is being tuned at the moment and I'm hoping to hit close to the same sorta numbers, but with LS6 intake and without ET heads .

Just to name a few things off the top of my head:

!back seats
!exhaust
!various heavy brackets
!heavy heat sheilds (no longer needed since exhaust does not go out the back)
!spare tire/jack/tools
Lighter wheels

There is abunch of other stuff... but I don't remember right now.

Nice setup. That torque is unreal with that camshaft profile (at least with the Comp grinds), but that's what a high DCR will do.

Those numbers are outstanding!

As for the PCV problem, you could just delete the whole thing all together and run a breather. I ran a catchcan setup for a while but ended up getting so much blowby that it started coming through the fresh air tube (plugs into tb). Not sure if it's the same setup on a GTO or not.

Metco makes a nice one that screws into the oil fill cap neck (thunder racing), or you can drill a hole in the stock cap (or a cheapo parts-house one) and pop in a 1-1/4 breather also from the parts house.

This guy did it for way less than the Metco costs (which I have )

Make sure you put some fresh oil in her every 3k or so and you'll be golden.

Thanks man that is some good info!

It seems my PCV system has settled down a bit since the tune.... It seems to be filling at a normal rate again... (I don't know it was filling so fast before?)

I am very happy to find out that my heads are actually not leaking! and it is actually just a very minor problem!

(It was not that stupid of a mistake.... the bolt was about 1/8" long with my new heads and did not seat down on the plug all the way... When I bolted it up I thought it was tight but it was not tight on the plug... My fix: cut the bolt. )

All better

Now I just need to find a better solution for the PCV. There is too much blowby for my liking...

I am soooo happy to know my heads are indeed properly sealed and I dont have to take them off
I got owned by the rear coolant plugs as well.. OCngrast on the new setup!!
