I have question as to piston slap? Does it occur with aftermarket pistons. Also other than the intake manifold and oil pan what diffreces do the ls1 in the f-body differ from the vette?

 

forged pistons piston will piston slap when cold, if that is what you're asking. vette and fbody ls1's have different throttlebodies, exhaust manifolds, crankshaft dampeners, and part numbers. thats all i can remember right now.

The reason im asking is when i bought my car from my dad. the orignal ls1 spun a bearing. We replace the engine with a used vette engine. My question is diffrences ofinternals
