Gen 3 hot cam
219 int and 228 exh i believe is the spec on it at .525. Ls6 valves, and an Ls6 intake also, what needs to be done to the heads to make it to the 400 rwhp mark or beyond? Only other mods are hooker headers with y-pipe and a corsa cat back with no cats. Also how much tunning is gonna be involved and what is recommended for the best tune?

if your gonna run a good set of heads then upgrade the game. there's no point in running a cam that wont take advantage of the added air flow. i've rarely seen any good H/C packages with the hot cam. cam only w/ bolt ons i've seen ~380rwhp. tuning with this cam wont be much different then any other cam, you'll want to optimize your timing curve for best power and driveability.

Have that setup, but 6.0liter intake rather than FAST or any TB mods. Hit 347.6rwhp witht he hotcam and storebought tune but remember, I've got like at least 23% drivetrain loss - so I suppose I'm hitting somehere around 425hp at the crank.

you're going to need a set of heads to get your hotcam to 400rwhp. i got 375 rwhp, without heads for me to get to 400 rwhp the only thing that i could count on would be a ported TB, electric water pump, and underdrive pulley... i doubt that would get me there.
...ya know, Nitrous would get you there,... and then some!
