SO I BLEW MY MOTOR.MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I REBUILD (HYPERF)OR BUY A CRATE ,AND IF SO WHICH MOTOR WOULD FIT HARNESS

 

buy a crate motor.. just make sure the motor is for ls1. it seems like many people are going with either 6.0l iron block or the new ls2 for weight difference.. its your choice.. good luck

 

Crate, SDPC sells the LS6 long block for $5289.80.

 

HOW DID YOU BLOW IT? Did you just spin bearing? DID A VALVE DROP AND MESS UP YOUR HEADS, THE PISTONS, AND THE BLOCK? Why not just go with a shortblock and just transfer things like your intake and heads over (providing they are okay) to the new block.
