Need some rockers, lightweight...
We need some nice lightweight rockers for a project. We've tried the old Yella Terra Rockers and had valve float but since have heard of an ultra light rocker that just came out. Comp Cams also has what looks like a good rocker. Whats the best high rpm rocker on the market today?

I've heard the cranes are fairly light. But I have no experience with them, thats just what I had heard. I think I'm going to go with the harland sharps but I'm not looking for a ultra light rocker, I also like there price

Have you looked at these? They have them for LS1's. http://www.schubeckracing.com/new2/i...position=70:53
Looks interesting. One other thing I'd suggest is to look at the Ferrea hollow stem valves. I have a set on my car and they are lighter by quite a bit. You can feel the difference holding them in your hand.

I didn't see an application for an LSx engine and they are expensive - $920
Which hollow stem Ferrea's do you have and did you weigh them? I was looking at those and they are still ~30 grams heavier than a stock sodium-filled LS6 valve.

Ferrea
F1022P-2.02 HS - 100.6 grams
F1021P-1.60 HS - 86.2 grams
Stock 02 Z06
Intake-2.00 SF - 76 grams
Exhause-1.55 SF - 63 grams
Stock 01 Z06
Intake-2.00 SS - 99 grams
Exhaust-1.55 SS - 86 grams
So the Ferrea HS are about the same as the 01 Z06 valves, but heavier than the 02 Z06 sodium filled valves.
Don't know what the AFR valves weigh, but I would guess ~120 grams for the intake and ~95 grams on the exhaust.
