Default ARP headstuds

I'm doing h/c and am going with ARP headstuds. My question is, do I go with the hex, or 12 point, and why? Any help would be great, b/c I need to order them asap.

Usually ARP 12 point studs are designed to give more clearance in applications where the valve springs are close to the stud/nut. However on the Gen III you don't have that problem so save some money and get the hex studs

I never really understood why 12pt is better, if they are. They are more expensive and it's harder to find sockets for them.
