There are tools you can rent and write ups you on here to help teach you. Many people have flycut their stock pistons without losing one. It's up to you, but I think you will be leaving a lot of power on the table.

i plan on getting the PRC LS6 heads with a Torquer 2 cam. a local guy with that and a 90/90 combo made 447rwhp i believe through a hooker catback. my setup is going to very closely duplicate his. beautiful car i might add.

I can get the PRC LS6 heads decked .035" easy & still clear the Torquer camshaft Remember the valve setup we use on the ls6 heads gives us extra p/v!!

.035" is about 59cc to 60cc range!

what kind of extra coin are we talking to do this? may be what i need. or even a slight cut and .040 cometic.

Hi Jason,

Are you talking about the 112+0 or the 113+0

The 113+0 will have aproximately 8.34 DCR on 59 cc with stock gaskets.
The 112+0 will have ~ 8.47 DCR on same setup

that sounds good to me can we confirm this jason? also what does that equate to for static compression?
