Used Cam Q I have a cam that has been in storage for awhile that Im planning to have installed soon. It was taken from a friend of mines engine with about 8-10k miles on it. He upgraded to a larger cam.
It's been stored vertically in a trash bag placed in a cam box inside my house for about 6 months or so. I also made sure it was lubed w/ oil. Is there anything I can do, or need to watch out for to check the condition of the cam and make sure it is suitable to install?
