Default Main bolts

so, it is time for me to get main bearing bolts. should i just order GM or should i get ARP or what? i know this is a general question but id like some reasons why to go with one or the other.

motor: stock rebuild 2001 LS1 with G5x4, in future plan on spraying somewhat.

I am sure the stock GM bolts are fine for your application, don't hear about many main bearing / main bolt failures.

However.. alot go with ARP, as I did myself.

I went with arp studs on the mains, arp on the heads also. Better safe than sorry. Depends on how much spray you plan on running in the future and what kind of rpm's you plan on turnin.
