Thx for the flow numbers. I found the flow on ls7 heads too. wicked 360 + at .600 thats mad crazy. Also note on that list of rwhp NA cars, all heads and blocks are from Ford. If Ford Modular motors had a rich after market like a ls1. Sky would be the limit. But Only head choice i have is PI, NPI, or FRPP heads. Cobra same story, cobra heads or Cobra FRPP heads. Sure aftermarket companies may tinkier with those parts, but no company has provided the modular a completely serparate block as of to date.

shut up pony boy.....look int he for performance catalogs at your local dealer..i worked at one..lots of head packages cams, intakes ,tb,lts.stroker motors..supercharged 4.6 4v--cmon ls1 **** is just becoming everywhere the day edelbrock made there heads..and now dart...either catch the ls1 disease or do what all the other pony boys do and kenne 03-04 cobra motor...or you can even vortech your 4.slow and still get blown away by mild ls1's---yes the ls7 is a bad boy...and to think you could hang with an ls7 vette with a modded huffin snake

Look in the video section. There is a number a modded 03-04' supercharged cobras getting spanked by mildly modded LS1s. As far as n/a vs n/a, ford doesn't stand a chance. That's why they put blowers on their vehicles and still get beat by chevy muscle.
I say instead of spending 13,000 in a motor that probably won't break the 400rwhp mark. Slap a kenne bell on it and crank the boost way up and then you'll for sure see over 400rwhp.

At least you guys got a since of humor. I'm not playing the "how fast can i go" game, or for that matter beat an ls1. Because no matter how much sink into a car, no matter how fast it is. There is always one faster. So who gives a shet about top dog ranks.
I'm simply updating my motor that still runs with 220k miles on it. Just wondering how it compared CFM wise. Thanks guys for the flow number again.
I'm looking into FRPP heads, 230 ish cams, FRPP intake, and a new built block. My GT has a small missing sound, and it burns oil like a MOTHER #%@@.

Nah mine should cost 6k with be bolting it togather. 13k would be 27 blue point aluminum block big bored dry sleeved, (80 rwhp possible over stock block), $,5,000+ block. FRPP heads $800+ a piece, port and polish $900. (50+rwhp), 230 ish cam $600 (25rwhp), Intake $1,200-1,700 (35rwhp), plus injectors, tune $250+, that all alone is good for at least 365 rwhp. And though thats ricers math, we havent even counted Bolt on's. And yes the big bore would make it a 5.0, and it probably wouldnt be all that streetable. Nor is that even excluding by passing powersteering, water pump, a/c. Personally, i'd studied what is possible with money, but I'm just doin a basic short block, FRPP parts. Vanillina89, just dones know his ****, SORRY!!

assembled they are called L92's
seems like ur dead set on trying to make power N/A with that mod
the way the LSx market is growing now, we are reaching a point where
FI is no longer needed to make 600+rwhp will have that kind of power from streetable day to day engines N/A

do what you want to do. but you really should think hard about putting that kind of money into a 2v. that is a really nice down payment on a cobra if you want to stay with ford.
for the money and power you are talking about it just doesnt seem smart

MRR has built a 500fwhp 4.6 liter. So I guess Sprayjunkie just dont know his competition.

Of course livernoise has some respectable Modulars, but I think they lean to blowers.
