Default LS7 Lifter preload

I'm not having much luck with the search, and i'm sure this has been gone over here many times,
but... when measuring for pushrod length, what preload number should i add on to what the pushrod length mesurement is for LS7 lifters??

I'm hoping to be able to keep my stock pushrods, and i know that everyone will suggest i upgrade to chromeoly ones, but i'm gonna try to stay with stock ones... putting new heads on (as you may have picked up from recent threads) ... I'm actually hoping that i get a reading that wants a slighty shorter pushrod length, that way i can use the stock 7.40's to quiet down the valve train (sorta under the same idea that the one guy on here uses - i always see him suggesting 7.425" ones)

Might try the LS2/LS7 forum as well.

LS7 lifters are the same as LS1 lifters, which are the same as LT1 lifters, which are the same as 87+ SBC roller lifters. Shoot for .080 - .100 preload.
