I know it's not going to be very scientific unless testing procedures and dynamometers used are noted as well but those differences are usually fairly small whereas the difference between crank and wheel HP are generally large.
In my first post I was referring to numbers at the crank.
Prodrive that's very interesting information you present in your post! 500hp from a block switch is nothing short of *amazing*. A gain that large would lead me to believe that the original black was in terrible shape at those power levels.
Being billet I'd assume there are no cooling provisions in block?
