i need help with my 408

i just got a 408 and the new head bolts dont go in but half way i looked in the hole with a flash light and the threads dont go down that far may you need a diff head bolt on a cast iron block i dont know please help

go order the bolts for a 05 6.0L escalade. or pm "horsepower" on this board he can give you the part numbers.

It is based on year model, not if it is iron or not.
I have a 01 6.0 iron that uses the long bolts like the 00 5.7 alluminum.
have an 04 that uses the short bolts.
