I got really lucky So I took my engine apart cuz it was smoking a lot out the tailpipe and out of the oil fill cap and dipstick tube. when i tested the engine before i took it apart, i had 85% leakage on cylinder 5 at TDC. once i got it apart and began to pull pistons, i got to cylinder 5 and once i unbolted the rod from the crank it fell right out and the bottom compression ring, along with the ring land were in a few pieces in my hand. The lucky part is that all these pieces stayed in place until i took the piston out and didn't tear up the cylinder wall. I can't see any scratches with the naked eye and no other walls appear to be damaged. i would say i got really really lucky.
