Default Valve sizes

What does a street/strip car generally gain from larger valve sizes? Is it really worth the money for the 2.055/2.08 compared to 2.00? I know the CNC part is worth it but what about the flow of the valves? I have tried 2 different stage 3's and now back to stock and sure on the dyno lost some ponies but not what expected. Please any info helpful.

First you only ran a 11.6 with 514 hp?

Second you will gain alot of power with bigger valves on heads that have been worked. If there stock heads you can only go 2.02 without haveing to replace the seat.
