Default Cam question....

Hey guys, I don't know much about cams, but was wondering if a TSP 231/237 duration, .598/.595 lift, 112-degree LSA cam be used with stock heads? Why or why not? Any help appreciated...

I would just call TSP and ask. They are all really cool guys. Its the best way to be TOTALLY SURE.

I would start with the Cam Guide sticky. Then start talking to a sponsor.

I'm pretty sure there will be no piston-to-valve clearance issues. Always check for yourself anyways before starting the engine.

You will have no problems running that cam with a stock motor. That is the same cam I have and I been running my for over an year. With nitrous too!

I run this cam with 5.3 heads and 2.02 valves with no problem. Idles nice with EFILive bonus.
