Default Timing chain question

I am going to install a TR224 cam. My car has 90k miles on it. I am going to change the timing chain. Am I suppost to change just the chain or do I change the whole thing that makes the chain spin too?................................ Thanks

Lol, you mean the cam and crank gears. I think that all you would really need to do is get the LS2 chain or just a new replacement. If the gears seem to show wear on the edges then you might consider a new set.

I installed just the LS2 chain when I did my cam swap. Used the same sprockets.

If you use a double roller chain then you'll need new sprockets.

both, good choice on the cam as well, check photo or my website

replace them all, it took a 6 inch pulley puller to get the crank gear off
