Not many people want the shortblock because if they need one they usually go bigger cubes. If they need a new motor they go with a built longblock. Hot rodders like the long blocks they don't care much for just the shortblock part of it. You can get one built to factory specs for 1500 if you pull it yourself. Im serious though about my offer.
