Default Help please.....

My low coolant light cam on after a brief road trip. I checked the coolant level in the resv tank and the radiator, they were a little low so i added coolant and water mix. The light will not shut off, the car isn't overheating, could there be something else wrong?

Maybe an air pocket or the sensor went bad.

Just below the cap on the radiator.

Default Same thing with 98 Z28

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I had the same thing show up on my '98 Z28 with the coolant light this weekend. After going approximately 25 miles, the light came on. I checked the coolant level and they seem to be OK. After the engine cooled off, the light was off until running another 25 miles or so.

I think it's the sensor. My coolant light's been on ever since I bought my car. It'll be off for the first 5 minutes then turn on and wont turn off until my car's cooled for about 5 hours. My coolant levels are never low and my engine temp is just fine. I wouldn't worry about it unless ur engine temp is going outta whack.
