Default Time for new lifters??

Well after taking the lifters and cam out, i ran my hand across the wheel on the lifters and on two of them i seem to hit a "Dead Spot" where it didn't want to turn anymore. With more force it did move but is this a sign that the bearings are on their way out???

BTW-Sponsors, who has the cheapest price on OEM replacement??

are there a lot of miles on the lifters. I would clean them thuroughlty and see if that helps if not I would replace them as now is the best time to do so

Lifters have round about 90K on them now... No marks on the rollers at all... just the two that seem to get caught up in motion..

With 90K on 98 lifters replacing them isn't a bad idea. Comp OE replacement lifters are a good choice and are avaliable for around $200. I will be using them on my new motor.
