Default "806" heads

how well do these heads flow if they even flow well at all.. they are the perimeter bolt style heads.. would it be worth time and money swapping to 853's or 241's.. or should i keep on saving up for some trick flows.. im putting on a custom grind cam with patriot gold springs.. also any horror stories on 98 blocks or are they pretty much the same as newer ones.. thanx

806s flow about like 853s and less than 241s stock for stock but thats not worth the hassle IMO doing through a head swap. Ported versions of these or the aftermarket ones would be the way to go.
