Default Emissions Equip - What can be left out?

I’m right in the middle of installing heads/cam and it really bugs me that there are so many stupid hoses and brackets on the intake manifold that don’t look overly necessary. I have already removed my AIR system and I’d like to know what else I can remove to clean up my engine.

Any details/pictures of what can be left off/blocked off would be great.

Thanks!

Emissions can be tricky, check with your tuner, he should know what can be turned off with no codes and what cannot. I do know that it is not as simple as remove it all and turn it all off, that will not pass in H-town. In H-town there cannot be any codes and several of the systems has to be working in a ready state or it will fail. The visual part of the test is up to the eyes of the inspector if you know what I mean.

You can still rip things out and have the computer report a working and ready state for them.
As far as emissions stuff, I dont know what else you can remove under the hood besides the AIR and EGR (which you dont have anyway).

Thanks for the info... My inspection sticker says 04 on it, so... I just dont want the clutter under my hood.
