Smoking and pushing coolant out. I just swapped headgaskets on my car w/ a fel pro mls set, I already had 12pt head studs and the heads were just milled for a good surface. I started the car and let it run and its still smoking and pushing coolant out of the exhaust like before. I thought it blew the headgaskets before but now think the heads are messed up.
Their stock LS1 heads that were ported and then epoxied. The work was all done when i bought the car and dont know who did the work. Does it sound like the heads and am I better off getting these fixed or getting new ones. These heads have LS6 valves and good valve springs so id hate to ditch them to spend a fortune on good heads.
