Same idea as that, but it is a thick rubber disk sandwiched by two metal plates. It has a threaded bolt that goes through the center with a nut on top so that as you tighten the nut, the two metal plates squeeze together and the rubber piece expands to fill the EGR hole. I'll see if I can find a pic.

yer if you could, i have neaver herd of these... anyone know of a web site that sells them>? can you comfirm thats its 1 7/8 ?

Buy a 35mm metal freeze plug for .59 at oreilly's or Autozone and it LOOKS way cleaner then the stupid rubber freeze plug with bolt in it.
