GTP heads

Default GTP heads

Anybody here running stage 1 GTP heads?I am curious about power gains with these heads.

First off, you can save yourself some major cash and have great results with entry level prc or patriot heads. To answer your question, if memory serves me right, the GTP heads are good, but expensive (much more bang for your buck with the other choices.)

I got some used stage 2 GTP's and the car screamed until it blew a head gasket when the thermostat stuck so No dyno #'s

Somehow I didn't see the part where he asked anything about PRC or Patriot heads vs cost.
To answer his question I have known Craig for years and he does excellent work. I am sure they will deliver the performance he claims and be reliable.

I had a set of GTP's on a 383. I wasn't happy with them or there service. They still owe me for the valve springs that they neglected to install on the heads that I prepaid for and never recieved.

Friend trapped 120mph w their Stage IIs and a 226 cam with boltons. They perform from what i've seen.
