4.8 truck based engine...what cam?

4.8 truck based engine...what cam? A buddy has a 4.8 liter truck engine and wants to put a cam in it.
Only other mod is exhaust. Any recommendations?
Let me know if the valve springs would need to be replaced or if you would need to have it tuned...It does have some mileage on it though, 157,000.
I told him starting to mod something with those kind of miles on it is probably asking for it...
What do you guys think?
