Can anyone confirm that a 2002 LS1 out of a Pontiac Trans Am will interchange with a LS1 in a 2000 Corvette?

an ls1 is an ls1 nothign changedbetween years now if you start looking into the ls2 then you need to swap somestuff from engine to engine but a 2002 ls1 is the same as a 2000ls1 yes they are interchangeable

Actualy while the motor is the same, the peripherals are different (alternator position, crank pulley, oil pan etc...) so you would need to put those on the TA motor and then it is a bolt on.
