pushrod length????
pushrod length???? I am going to throw some terminator heads on with an MS3...I have some hardened PR's from texas speed, stock length 7.4 i believe..
will that need to change with my new set up?
I would hate to have to sell the ones I bought..

yes i'm sure, Why because you'll get a tighter preload. 7.40's will have added valvetrain noise due to loose preload.
let me give you an idea, I run 5.3 heads milled .025 with .050 gasket on a XE-R .59x lft and I use 7.40 without a peep from the valvetrain.
That is .025+.004= .029 mill effect.
Had it been with stock gasket, unmilled I would run 7.425's (which i used to on old setup)

I am running Harland Sharp 1.8's with Patriot heads and ~.600 lift. Was told that these rockers require a slightly shorter pushrod. Did a pushrod measurement and sent to Smith Bros.. They put .045 preload which worked out to a length = 7.350. My valvetrain is very noisy. I intend to put the 7.4's back in. Things are OK at 4,000+ but at idle it drives you nuts. Live and learn.

From my experience, I setup at least .080 cold
