Default cam

i want a cam that will be street driveable but be able to take to the track once a month or twice a month. i was thinking like a custom grind 230/230 112LSA cuz i just want something that is really gonna lope but not have bad idle issues and give me about 370rwhp to 380 for an automatic with a 3600 yenk.. would a 111LSA have some idle issues. i want a rough idle cam that will sound nasty at idle. any special cams out there that are just really lopey. its sounds funny but thats wat i want especially with the hooker catback cuz its more of a quiter exhaust out there so i need something that is gonna really wake the car up. any suggestions??

thanks

Wake the car up or make it have waaaay more bark than bite?

If you just want a lopey cam, get a cam that will work for what you are wanting to do and make sure that it has positive overlap. I have a 115 LSA cam that chops like a lumberjack.

You sound like a candidate for the 224/224 112 or the LS1 "Hotcam".

You should probably go with Mike's original suggestion before you do anything.
